When you create an account, we store your email address and authentication credentials (managed by Supabase). If you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive your email and display name from those providers. We do not sell, share, or rent your personal information to third parties.
Your email is used for authentication, account recovery, and service-related notifications. Usage data (searches, bookmarks, workspaces) is stored to provide the service and is tied to your account. We may use aggregated, anonymized usage patterns to improve the platform.
We use Supabase for authentication and data storage, Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection, Stripe for payment processing, and OpenAI / Google for AI features. Each service has its own privacy policy governing data they process on our behalf.
If you provide your own LLM API key, it is encrypted at rest and used only to make requests on your behalf. We never log, share, or use your API keys for any other purpose.
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data through our contact page.
You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. Most of this is available directly in your account settings; for anything else, reach us through our contact page. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, including the right to object to certain processing and the right to lodge a complaint with a regulator. We do not sell your personal information.
We use essential cookies for authentication session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Gerolamo is operated from the United States, and your data is processed there and by the third-party providers listed above. By using the service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than your country.
Gerolamo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform, and we will update the "last updated" date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
