ZeroPass is a behavioral biometrics authentication prototype that uses sensor data (typing, gestures, motion) from mobile devices to verify user identity continuously.
Defensibility

ZeroPass is currently a personal prototype with negligible adoption (1 star, 0 forks) and no evidence of a novel machine learning architecture or proprietary dataset. Behavioral biometrics is a field that relies heavily on 'data gravity'—the more patterns you collect, the more accurate the model becomes. Established players like BioCatch and TypingDNA have massive datasets and enterprise integrations that this project cannot currently match. Furthermore, the risk from mobile OS vendors (Apple and Google) is extremely high; these companies control the hardware sensors (accelerometer, gyroscope) and are increasingly baking advanced authentication (Passkeys, FaceID, Attention Awareness) directly into the kernel/OS level. A third-party app-level implementation is inherently less secure and more susceptible to battery/performance throttling compared to native OS features. Without a breakthrough in zero-knowledge biometric proofs or a massive jump in adoption, this project remains a technical exercise rather than a defensible product.
