uTLGBotLib is a legacy project with very low market penetration (21 stars over 7 years) and zero current development velocity. While the 'universal' C++ approach for both MCUs and PCs is theoretically useful for code reuse, the project lacks the community momentum required to keep up with the frequent updates to the Telegram Bot API. In the IoT space, it is heavily outcompeted by 'Universal-Arduino-Telegram-Bot' (Witnessmenow), which has thousands of stars and active maintenance. For desktop C++, projects like 'tgbot-cpp' offer more robust features. The defensibility is nearly non-existent as it is a thin wrapper around a public REST API; its only value is the abstraction layer, which is now functionally obsolete compared to more modern, active alternatives. Frontier labs pose no risk here, but the project has already been 'consolidated' out of relevance by the open-source community's preference for more specialized or more popular libraries.
